Go off and think of somewhere else, lay down a village or mountain, far from the action. This might not (probably shouldn’t) make it into the #writing, but it will stretch those creative muscles and might tell you something about the world before it’s too late.
Lazy worlds breed forgettable tales.
In #fantasy, your world isn’t a backdrop — it’s a character that can tell the story just as well as a character. Try mapping how each location influences a character’s choice or fate, how it challenges, reinforces or shifts what you/your character wants to accomplish.

I’m a fantasy author currently writing NEW WORLDS : NEW ME, a web novel publishing 3 times a week. It’s an adventure through wild worlds with action, complex characters and lots of semi-mythological or cryptid-like monsters
This project, by contrast, is everything I like packed tightly into one story! Fantasy high, low and dark, the early Bronze Age, lore building, videogames, abominations, pulp fiction, conspiracy and mystery, touches of horror and survival! I’m having a LOT of fun writing it ☀️💪🏻
