I can’t prove this was the intention, but I choose to read “we look forward to seeing these models painted on the tabletop” as a subtle dig at the chuds who are malding at this release since 99% of them have never painted a single model

This is Potato Pete from a British WW2 poster campaign. The "as intended" fella is on the right, and I did horrible things to the one on the left. Where he's going, he doesn't need eyes.

There’s a theory that this is why Games Workshop did a limited rerelease of Space Hulk a few years ago, the container was lost or stolen and it took a few years to get back to them

Which as you can see here are totally proper and have nothing abnormal or upsettingly biomechanical about them.

As per the rest of the Osseonauts, its intended for kitbashing and so doesn’t have arms, but in case of a deficit of carnifex spares I’ve made a couple of sprues of gun barrels and insect leg segments that you can see I’ve slapped together with all the direction of an 11yr old in the 90s.

Building some casts of my 54mm Osseonauts! Or normal scale walking warmachine. Thighs are optional! It’s incredibly versatile as long as you want it to be janky as hell!

😂 that makes a lot more sense! I don’t think I got it while I was a small kid, but my introduction to it was my parents so seeing my squatty anarcho punk parents with it probably contextualised it as “silly” to me at least. It was younger than tattoo age anyway! 😂

Honestly this isn’t meant to sound snarky but I’m real curious as to how old you were when you had judge Dredd tattooed on you and thought he was the hero? I’ve always thought Dredd a hard one to get the wrong way round so I’m genuinely very interested!
