It’s true, it does seem to be a little more stabilized in comparison.

I live next to the Rockies being in Alberta so I am vastly aware of the transportation issues through the mountains. The only other option is through the Panama Canal but that also increases cost. The only reason why Alaska doesn’t have this issue is because of crude pipelines coming from Alberta.

Checking up on gas prices in the US. This is an interesting look at logistics as it looks like the west coast is getting the brunt of the rising prices. This is because the oil comes in from the east coast and has to distribute westward. Prices are worse on the west coast due to the Rocky Mountains.
