This was my first attempt at color layering and multi-block printing.
Each print took a lot of precision— with even inking & burnishing. But a little patience and trust in the process, the print tuned out to be magical 🧡💙

This Bright orange marigold lino print was made using the puzzle printing technique — carving the flower, cutting them into separate sections, inking each one, and then bringing them together for the final print.

What started out as a landscape composition study sketch, turned into this print, a scene that would make me stop and stare.
Always a little nerve-wracking to pull that first print. But I think this one turned out okay.
