I think you downplay the role of RW media a bit too much. If Fox, etc reported honestly instead of cheeleading, more people would see through the obvious lies. Part of their support is due to being told they are winning on everything. An honest media would have flushed Trump in the 2016 primary.

Thank you Sen. Murray for saying this, but we need stronger leadership in the Senate, Schumer should step aside. Dems should be holding up all confirmations and other Senate business until this illegal war is stopped.

This isn't new though, it's just a new (faster, broader) format. AM talk radio has been loaded with grievance for decades.

Most voters *never* have a good feel for what Dems actually stand for. Dem policy goals almost always poll better than GOP. Voters don't associate those policies with the candidates, IMO due to poor messaging and "both-sidism" in the media.

Senator Murray isn't attending. I would think that provides enough cover for the rest of the party mainstream to skip it as well.

How? I don't see a viable pathway until Dems are back in power. Do you think there is realistic leverage to get a bill to the floor, pass it, and override an inevitable veto?
Tear it all down should be the goal, but suggesting that is the ONLY position to advocate seems unproductive.

Oversight is how we hold accountable those responsible for these atrocities. Abolishing ICE prevents more from happening. Both are needed.
