My wife's car tyre blew going over a patriotic pothole, so I have been taxi for the house this morning.

We live in a Reform voting area. We have union flags on the local lampposts, and we routinely get fliers through the door about immigration.

No one is maintaining the roads.

Trying to be better about stepping back from the daily political noise and paying attention to the bigger picture—literally.

Neurodiverse kids, LGBTQI+ kids, kids with disabilities, hell, even opinionated kids. I'd definitely have been thrown off the cliff, ditto many others I know.

The whole process was joyful - from inception, discussions with excellent Dr John Booth (editor), planning out the sections and finally - pen to paper.

I was very keen to make it “visual” with lots of images. Delighted.

One tiny pity : couldn‘t include a tiny history section.
