This meant my childhood was full of abuse. I was often the bad person that she needed to destroy. Somehow I believed life must be better somewhere else.
I work with lots of people with dementia and mental health issues. It takes a lot to shake me.
I have used EMDR to heal

Today is my mother’s birthday. She is 77. I do not have contact with her. At this point in my life , I understand why she was so cruel and so abusive. My mother has Schizoaffective disorder. That means i never knew which mom i would come home to. Paranoid, Delusional, depression or manic. Chaos 1/2
