Instead of giving Tenna to Mettaton/the Nobody, Susie and Kris leave him in Hometown’s alley. Alphys picks him up and takes him home. Alphys uses Tenna to watch anime, old cartoons and play eroge. She’s always wanted a CRT because to her - it displays older media better than an HDTV. Of course, Alphys is an isolated and anxious woman - so it’s not long before she starts treating Tenna as another person. He becomes a confidant to her fears and insecurities in the Light World… But she also talks to him about her interests and passions - ones she’s shy about disclosing with other people in Hometown. Then, one day - a Dark World opens in Alphys’s room… and Tenna and Alphys finally meet.

Tenna’s default outfit has changed because he wanted to appeal to Alphys’s tastes. It gives her a reason to look at him, which is all he really wants. He can also change his outfits. (Maid! Bunny! MewMew cosplay! Nurse! And more…) His Dark World is much smaller in this AU. It consists of two major rooms: his game room and a mini green room. Though these can change… Also, Tenna lost all of his staff after being rehomed - so he does all of his work by himself. Maybe he’s getting a taste of what he put his employees through… Phew!

Alphys plays visual novels and eroge in the game room. Tenna is too stunned to backseat her. Alphys: “So for context, Deathpolca is the leader of the demons and she…” Tenna (thinking): “Whoa mama. That Lily Killer lady sure has interesting tastes in fashion.” On the flipside, Tenna shows Alphys his favorite movies (to inspire her!) Tenna: “And this is one of my FAVORITE scenes in ‘The Artist.’ Just look at that shot composition!” Alphys (thinking): “Oh, I’m SO going to reference this in my doujins…” They do croquis (for Alphys’s art practice) And they sing karaoke together!

Alright, been some time now and things have calmed down a bit for me. Thankfully, aside from the GoF server being nuked and having to try and get back into contact with folks, no other major damage was done.

So it'll take some time to get everything together again, but aside from that I'm good!

Alright new day and I'm feeling relatively better, still bummed but not the end of the world.

Not sure when I'll get a new server up and running but I'll try and get it up sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the words of support from those that reached out. Helped me manage to get some sleep.
