Delighted to see you enjoyed the game!
And I am working on the next ones (an expansion and a new game) using the same engine π
Total disrespect, but having him competing with the women is the initial and worst misgenderingβ¦
Help us make hope normal again.

Fully agreed, and the publisher had the same stellar commitment for my Ancients game, with similarly stunning results IMO
All in all, I think the expansion is shaping very nicely, and will provide plenty of additional fun to Hubris players, including some experience of Macedonian mightβ¦
Across the Gulf of Corinth, Demetrios II attacked the Aitolians to restore some of his authority and renown, only to have to run back to Macedonia to fight off a dangerous Dardanian invasion: he achieved a stalemate, but at the cost of his own life, opening the way for Doson to succeed himβ¦
In Greece, Antigonos Doson led the allied Spartans to crush the Ptolemaic allied Athens, then bring back Megalopolis into the fold. The Spartans were of course delighted! And Greece is now nearly fully covered with Macedonian garrisons, in the political tradition of Antigonos Gonatas.
In the East, a new revolt sprung in Babylonia, and proved incredibly resilient, with the city of Seleukeia on the Tigris resisting no less than four campaigns by Seleucid generals (for those mathematically inclined, this is only a (2/3)^16, i.e. 0.15% probability!!!).
Meanwhile, Ptolemaios III, short of funds, went about reasserting control of Kyrenaika primarily through diplomacy, with Sosibios eventually convincing the Kyreneans to ally with Alexandria, and then Ptolemaios III himself leading their levies to subjugate the wild tribes of the hills.
Intrigues in the various courts led to a promising young Ptolemaic Friend, Sosibios, discrediting the kingβs brother and being appointed Chief Minister, while the Macedonian court erupted in deadly intrigues, including one attempt to cast aside Demetrios II, who barely survived the challenge
Seeing this, the king of Macedon, Demetrios II, declared war and invaded Seleucid Thrake. However, Hierax decided that his dispute with his brother was not to be used by foreign enemies, crossed the Hellespont and sent Demetrios packing with his Renown in tatters.
Hubris can really deliver some awesome narrative and twists of fate: in my current solo test game of the prequel expansion, the 4th turn (235-231) was just spectacular!
First, Seleukos II suffered a crushing defeat despite enjoying numerical superiority against his rebel brother Antiochos Hierax.
Closing out 2025 with a test game of the upcoming prequel expansion for @gmtgames.bsky.social Hubrisβ¦ Antigonos Gonatas, Ptolemaios III and Seleukos II wish you a very Happy New Year 226 BCE! πΎπ
Iβd like to believe that the horrific darkness of this past year is a necessary prelude to a brighter and saner future. Some thoughts...

It does. I did arrange stuff a bit differently than shown on your website based on my familiarity with the game π, would happily share for updating it if you wish
Splurged a little bit and purchased the @cube4me.bsky.social set for my own @gmtgames.bsky.social Hubris: everything fits in very nicely and neatly π
Well, after a very taxing week, Iβll take it. Kind of funny though that two such despicable things are sharing the same initialsβ¦ π
Excellent : I learned something today π
I agree with Pratchett, but the only CSA Iβm aware of are the Confederate States?
That is a very interesting numerical comparison

Took me a couple tries, but I finally managed to win @snafustore.bsky.social Operation BΓΈllebank by getting tank BQ in Tango 2 on the very last turn, despite the 1st tank being slowed down by Hull dmg, achieving both Operational, Strategic & Political victories! Very interesting little game indeed!
Looking forward to seeing your take on the game π
Atypical « arrivage du jourΒ Β» today with my designerβs lot of @gmtgames.bsky.social Hubris copies ππ
It's December and we're sharing Assigned Media's top stories from 2025!
Two of our most evergreen stories came from the incredible @billiejsweeney.bsky.social (who classes the place up immensely, let me just say).
Here, Billie wrote about the attacks on science undergirding misinfo on trans care.
Would be a pleasure to meet again!
Yes a prequel covering the years 250-221. Currently in testing.
