The danger is to think of Reform as just another version of the Tory Party
They are so much worse
They have taken the worst Tories - the most power-hungry, racist, misogynistic MPs - and empowered them to seek authoritarian rule
They will decimate our rights and democracy
They will rule over us!

I entirely appreciate your view, Kerry. But from an evolutionary neuroscience perspective: the last 6,000 years has been an anomaly in human evolution. I’m writing a book about it, but the long and short is that we are intensely cooperative animals. Minority are cruel. Sadly they lead us just now!

At what point does this become criminal? I mean seriously! As we all sacrificed they just focused on making money. It is disgusting.
It is not the State that has too much power
It is that the positions meant to execute the power of the State have grown beyond their intent
Leaders are public servants, not omnipotent citizens free to do whatever they want
It’s time we drafted new laws to enforce better behaviour from our leaders
To be absolutely clear, I will not vote for Labour if they continue to support Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians.

It’s hard to work out the racist Christian. I mean, beyond the whole love thy neighbour thing, someone’s told them that Jesus wasn’t white, right?
We are actually in the reverse situation, whereby the attempt to manage the smaller number of beds more efficiently simply makes the whole system unsafe. Imagine, rationing one bed per ward - who gets it. How you “manage” that one bed is negligible? Or, improving its management has negligible effect
The only viable solution to these dangerous NHS waits is to put bed capacity back to what it was in 2010.
If you shrink your health service as demands for it increases then it is not surprising people have to wait longer.

The absolute callousness of announcing a 44% trade tariff against Myanmar this week, of all weeks.
🚨UPDATE: Rümeysa Öztürk has now suffered three separate asthma attacks while in DHS custody.
She has not received her required asthma medications—a violation of her fundamental right to medical care.
This is cruelty, it is neglect, and it is a damning moral and legal failure.
