I mostly think about this one...
"It's unpleasantly like being drunk".
"What's so unpleasant about being drunk"?
"Ask a glass of water".

Inside is for furniture. You're a viking. You can run outside in any conditions, always!
Day 365+70 - Cloudy, windy, cool, damp.
A real Town & Country #run between the flat city streets and rugged coastal trail. Turned out to be a bit more effort than expected along the coast but a fine distraction on new routes.

Saw this just now and thought of you...

I empty a tin of tuna in brine with a dash of mayonnaise in bread to supplement my protein intake. I mention it because I have the same issue. I'm awesome at eating fat though!
Day 365+69 - Broken cloud, breeze, cold, damp.
Wilbur dog recovery #run as the dafs begin to open in this neck of the woods at last. Heavy footed at the dog's pace. Over ยฃ100 at the vets yesterday for repeat prescription ear drops (ยฃ20 worth). Daylight robbery.

Too much going on to take the dog and he's not the greatest traveler in a car. It did get cold with the bits sticking out the sleeping bag. Woke up with my hat on and still manage to get the 2 best Garmin sleep scores of the year ๐
Day 365+68 - Overcast, breeze, cold, damp.
A Wilbur dog drag around this morning. He just wasn't up for anything but slow once we got out.

Awesome job. Go on yersel'!
26.22 miles, but it doesn't seem like anyone's counting ๐
Jesmond's a lovely place to run, especially down through the park. Great photos!
Day 365+67 - Sunny, breeze, cold, damp.
A relaxed #run in familiar surroundings after a week away. Lovely fresh morning with a hint of last night's ice. Stopped a few times to let cars past with Wilbur dog off the lead.

Sleet showers, breeze, cold, wet.
A chilly early morning #run after a night in the Getaway Car. Along the track of the some of the world's first railway line invented and built to transport coal from local mines to waiting ships on the coast. Saw a barn owl.

Day 365+64 - Cloudy, calm, cool, dry.
A #run to clear my sleep deprived hangover after a emotionally charged family funeral yesterday. Grief, alcohol and long memories dissolving in a T. S. Lowry seascape.

Day 365+63 - Broken cloud, breeze, cold, dry.Daybreak #run with a dozen others skipping along the beach at sunrise. Out early so I can get back and prepare to say goodnight to my uncle Neil later this morning.

You've got them tonight. Get stuck in!
6 hour drive yesterday so this was a definite pay off ๐
It was stunning this morning. I'm more of a Newcastle fan but I was won over today.
It's like a cheat code, but you wouldn't be able to do it if you didn't run it!
๐๐๐
Phenomenal commitment and that smile says everything you need to know about what it's done for you. Go on yersel'!

A few more unapologetic snaps from this morning's #run, given how glorious it was!

A glorious morning for a coastal #run on my travels, regardless of circumstance. 8m45s pace punctuated by endless stops for photos it was so beautiful (so I've added more below...)

In Scottish slang "honkin'" (or honking) means something terrible, dirty or absolutely disgusting. It is synonymous with words like mingin' or boggin'; used to describe unpleasant scents, rotten food, or poor quality.
Here's to all the honkin' runs that have got you here. Go on yersel' ๐ช๐๐
February #running roundup I forgot to include in today's run with 146 miles, making 307 for the year so far ๐ Ironically, life feels more relaxed with a bit of extra effort each day. Although I post here as a personal diary, connecting with like minded souls makes it so much more.
Cheers ๐ป #5kaday
Day 365+60 - Showers, stiff breeze, cold, damp.
A fresh and breezy Wilbur dog aroundabout rollercoaster #run.

Good stuff. I've a mate who raves about Hoka shoes. Have you tried your Megablasts yet? I've found mine egging me on to speed up. They don't seem to like an easy pace so either need tamed or saved for faster pace runs. It's probably going to be the latter but they're fun to run in.
Any news on the new shoes?
