Got to see the movie ‘Project Hail Mary’ for the second time the other night - this time at the @casciencecenter.bsky.social with the Sato Academy Firebreather Rocketry Club - and it was just as much fun as the first time!
Great to see 'Star City' set to stream on AppleTV on May 29th! I am the technical consultant on this show but I had to work remotely since it was filmed in Eastern Europe. If you like the space adventures in 'For All Mankind' you won't be disappointed, but the vibe of Star City is unique.

I was lucky enough to catch a sneak peak last night at the new 'Project Hail Mary' movie. It's good. I mean, really really good. I was totally immersed for the whole film. It is a great space film - and damn funny too! Funniest space film since Galaxy Quest!

This is something to celebrate. The draconian cuts to NASA Science have been largely rejected by Congress. I hope this includes grants to university research programs and that those programs can recover from the damage already done. spacepolicyonline.com/news/great-n...

I share your disgust at the gutting of NASA science missions, especially ones already paid for that are still yielding valuable data. And as you saw in that editorial, I was very concerned about the DOGE attack on the federal workforce and the anti-DEI crusade which was a front for discrimination.
