Donβt let anyone get you down. amazing games have been made with the equivalent of two sticks rubbed together. And more than is probably advisable amounts of the greatest games ever made were developed on dumpster fire engines. engine doesnβt matter. Itβs the paint. What matters is the painting.

Years are not an indicator of experience nor skill. The industry needs to stop regarding how long you've been here when considering roles. It's not about 'putting in the time'. It's about skill and experience maturity. Some people reach that in 5 years, others in 20.
