I was so unhappy with my desktop mill that I bought to upgrade from the pcb mill, which I loved. I wanted to give them another shot. This is a terrible user experience and completely unreasonable for what the hardware costs. It should just work out of the box.

What's even worse about this is that the instructions don't call out the need for it, there's no indication that it's the problem. It just fails with a stack trace and I saw the bad CPU type in executable in the error message.
