Reminder the Senate is expected to vote on the Save America Act this week. Please contact your senator and urge them to vote no. You may be seeing a lot of apparent “support” for the bill on social media, but it is not organic. Bot accounts have been flooding senators pages urging them to vote yes.

Brendan Carr tweet: Broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distortions - also known as the fake news - have a chance now to correct course before their license renewals come up.
The law is clear. Broadcasters must operate in the public interest, and they will lose their licenses if they do not.
And frankly, changing course is in their own business interests since trust in legacy media has now fallen to an all time low of just 9% and are ratings disasters.
The American people have subsidized broadcasters to the tune of billions of dollars by providing free access to the nation’s airwaves.
It is very important to bring trust back into media, which has earned itself the label of fake news.
When a political candidate is able to win a landslide election victory after in the face of hoaxes and distortions, there is something very wrong. It means the public has lost faith and confidence in the media. And we can’t allow that to happen.
Time for change!
Trump "Truth":
Yet again, an intentionally misleading headline by the Fake News Media about the five tanker planes that were supposedly struck down at an Airport in Saudi Arabia, and of no further use. In actuality, the Base was hit a few days ago, but the planes were not “struck” or “destroyed.” Four of the five had virtually no damage, and are already back in service. One had slightly more damage, but will be in the air shortly. None were destroyed, or close to that, as the Fake News said in headlines. The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal (in particular), and other Lowlife “Papers” and Media actually want us to lose the War. Their terrible reporting is the exact opposite of the actual facts! They are truly sick and demented people that have no idea the damage they cause the United States of America. Fortunately, as proven by our Great and Conclusive Election Win in 2024, the People of our Country understand what is happening far better than the Fake News Media! President DONALD J. TRUMP
FCC to journalists: cover the Iran war the way the president prefers or lose your broadcast license.

Very interesting stuff here. A new supplemental funding bill, notionally to pay for the Iran War, will be a back door way for the White House to claim Congress retroactively authorized the war itself talkingpointsmemo.com/news/for-tru...

The Trump administration is set to receive a roughly $10 billion fee from investors in the recently completed deal to take control of TikTok's U.S. business, delivering it a windfall for keeping the popular social-media app alive in America.
The payment is part of the agreement through which investors friendly with the administration gained control of TikTok's U.S. operations from Chinese parent ByteDance, people familiar with the matter said. It comes in addition to the investments made to create a
new entity to run the app in the U.S.
The Wall Street Journal previously reported that the administration was expected to get a multibillion-dollar fee.
The $10 billion payment would be nearly unprecedented for a government helping arrange a transaction, historians have said. Vice President JD Vance previously said the new TikTok entity running the U.S. operations is valued at about $14 billion in the deal, which some tech analysts have said dramatically undervalues the company.
This still doesn’t really explain exactly what is happening — raising further questions about the repeated use of “Trump administration” and “administration,” as opposed to “paid to the federal government.”

Coding After Coders: The End of Computer Programming as We Know It - The New York Times
In the era of A.I. agents, many Silicon Valley programmers are now barely programming. Instead, what they’re doing is deeply, deeply weird.
SigmundAI.eu now writes most of its own code. I give directions and feedback on design and implementation. This article is a pretty accurate description of what #AI #coding means in different situations (e.g. existing vs new code). www.nytimes.com/2026/03/12/m...

The lack of mention of Taiwan in the NDS 2026 and the domiciling of TSMC semiconductor production in the US denoted a significant shift from considerations of China as a primary belligerent threat before any of the Middle East events began to take place.
