So much so some people tried scalping the $13 set (and are still trying to sell the figure for around $200)

Idk who buys a set that big for only ONE figure or ties to say it’s unfair Lego messed with their “stock market” when the real stock market can be just as bad without being crazy

That being said the REAL crazy behavior (I’ve seen) were a bunch of people buying a 500-600 dollar Lego set for ONE figure (that was already rumored to rerelease in a smaller $13 set) as an investment

And then cried that Lego was ruining the resell market / the point of buying a set that big

Luckily Hasbro (the people making transformers) have started reissuing some of the recently scalped toys (and some older ones too) much to the dismay of scalpers

They still have issues with distribution tho…

It’s so dumb, I’ve heard stories of people trying to buy transformers but the scalpers will have taken them all already

And if they catch them, said scalper will try to sell it to them when they are STILL INSIDE THE STORE and haven’t paid for them yet
