#parkchat A11 As Susan mentioned, those junior ranger books usually have a drawing section. That's a start! Get kids to take photos and frame their photos back at home. They'll want to do it again in the "next" park!

Q11 #ParkChat As parents we want our children to enjoy their trips to the Parks for many reasons. Engagement then on Park trips is going to be important. What techniques are you going to use for engagement when Park art is on our minds for the kids?

A8 #ParkChat That's a tough one. I'm torn between my "local" C&O Canal, the Badlands and Voyageurs.

I'll go with the C&O Canal, and photography, only because that's the visual art I'm most comfortable with.

Q10: Ansel Adams’ Tetons Snake River photo was put on the golden Voyager spacecraft record because it showed that we live on a planet where water is a vapor (cloud), liquid (river) & solid (snow). What park photo would you send to aliens to show our world? #parkchat

#parkchat A9 I played a Native American flute for a friend's wedding at Starved Rock State Park many yrs ago and apparently it echoed through the canyons. Afterward people sought out our group to tell us how appropriate the music felt for their park experience there. It was amazing.
