At work today for the Apprenticeships Fair - spending the day with Ada the Robot.
Now there's no more essays to write for a while and I've finished the marking on the day job for a little bit - I was instructed to take a weekend off... cue building Shackleton's Endurance - good job I measured the bookcase before I set the shelves up!
I have Wilson - but not the others - planning a trip down to Hay on Wye when I have a spare moment to raid the bookshops there - though I might need to buy some more book cases then!
Final essay of the year handed in for my MA today - perhaps I might have time to play a little @elderscrolls.bethesdastudios.com Oblivion Remastered - it looks just as amazing as it did 20 years ago! (Just kidding... now to mark all my student's submissions!)
Made the 'mistake' of listening to a @lionsledbydonkeys.bsky.social podcast while trying to write my final naval studies essay for this year... trying to be balanced and not inject too much of the humour!

A mechanism built from a construction parts
Representing on the department stand at today's Offer Holder Day while my colleagues get to have fun building mechanisms - at least I'm managing to sneak read journal articles too!
Doing the day job today at the Apprenticeships Fair at University of Staffordshire - talking to people about Degree Apprenticeships for National Apprenticeships Week #NAW25 #uniofstaffs #Engineering
Been using zotero which has helped having grown up on Harvard and IEEE referencing but even then there's different versions of it!
Assignment number four submitted... now to sleep... just kidding... now to get all my marking turned around by the marking deadline ๐คฃ
I did write this week, mostly because a deadline approaches... but words were written!
Having got my essay in on time, despite my own concerns and expectations - tonight is a night off work and study , back on @elderscrolls.bethesdastudios.com to relax...
Today handed in essay number three on my MA - perhaps I shouldn't pick primary sources where I have to translate handwriting!
I've covered Elizabethan navigation, impressment and the Stuart Anglo-Dutch wars so far... I feel like I've gone too far on trying to make sure they're not too similar!
