I never want to be so big that I lose sight of why I do what I do. It's not cringe to want to be appreciated for who you are or what you do, it is however dumb to let ego get in the way of doing what's right.

I guess it's time to double down, because it's here. It's on our doorstep, and we need heroes and bright spots whereever we can find them.

If I seem to be throwing myself into my work, that's why.

To a creator I admire at Unplugged, when asked "What would you do with fame and power?" I said "I'd be a Daedalus or Hephaestus, an armorer for modern day heroes who spread levity and kindness, giving them the tools they need for the frontlines"

Every Tools A Hammer by Adam Savage, it's a very lovingly told recounting of his life meant to shed light on the creative process and has some really amazing stories from his work as an effects artist/Mythbuster. It may just help shift your perspective on creative labor as well.

Mid thirties here reporting in, I'm trying to build my whole career around whimsy and hospitality towards others. Feels like the biggest act of rebellion I'll ever do.

Wow, just catching y'all up here. I posted awhile ago about doing a "Tavern luncheon" at PAX Unplugged, and y'all SHOWED UP. It makes me want to do it more and refine my work.. host more events in the future. More photos of the event are coming! And I can't wait to share!

There's so much, so so much that happened this year.. and here's to recapping it in a video, talking about my goals and getting the team ready for 2026... all I ask is grace as I decompress and take a giant running start at next year..

@dianaoftherose.com as always being graceful and fantastic, not to mention partially responsible for me going full time at Woodworking. @nyybeats.bsky.social being the reason to attend Twitchcon, and the motivation to do better with my stream, running into @jocat.net and so many fantastic others.

This year was INSANE, and it had its drama. Getting sick after Twitchcon for a week and a half, nearly not making my self-imposed deadline for Unplugged, and my new website getting put on hold..
Not making the content I wanted to.. but the people I met! Oh my gods the people!

So, here's my year in review.

April was Japan, Shortly after was PAX East, my Mother moved in May, and June July saw me move into my Studio office at Lullco, August and September saw me fixing three new machines, and October prepping for PAX Unplugged and a Tavern party the likes I'd never dreamed

This is going to be the best weekend. Ever. Hands down.

I mean... I can imagine it hurt, but did it help in the end? Because that sounds like something I should bite down on a piece of rope and just *Do*

I flew waaaaay to close to the sun back in June/July and proposed putting on a full blown Networking Luncheon at PAX Unplugged. And now, its all coming true! I can't wait to see you all there, but for now! Onwards! To TwitchCon!!

So It's official. Myself and my good friend Law will be at PAX Unplugged. Come say hi if you see me! And keep an ear to the ground for the event I'm doing my best to plan!

He's been getting abit worse with how and where he interjects them.. it's not excusable but I'd imagine the cause is the increasing "political" nature of his content being unappealing to advertisers. But yes. I agree. Do better.

I was thinking of hosting a luncheon/networking event w/ a photoshoot, food, & TTRPG gear for those interested.
2 hour pop-up, the set is tavern themed, we take some awesome photos or videos for Socials. Thoughts?
