Famously, this inscribed stone not only bears a runic inscription, but it is also the only runic-og(h)am biscriptal stone in Ireland (more at O3D: ogham.celt.dias.ie/I-CLA-004).
Contrary to a widespread belief, the ogham inscription does NOT contain the Norse name TORQRIM (Thórgrímr).

And Pan made sing for thee his forest-hive;
Aye on the shores of darkness there is light, And precipices show untrodden green.

Art of the weird elongate monster with eyes all over its body, bunched up to look like a cow's entrails. Inset is an outline showing the scale next to a person (it is much bigger) and a map of Europe showing where the lake is in Switzerland.
#FolkloreThursday Lüschersee is a small Swiss Alpine lake which is said to be bottomless. In its depths lives the Butatsch Cun Ilgs, a monster described as looking like an enormous cow's stomach covered with hundreds of hypnotic eyes, which can also shoot fire.

We’ve celebrated a Polish tradition today with a huge amount of “Pączki”. Do you recognize this sweet treat? And don’t say they’re Donuts - they're not Donuts - they’re so much more than Donuts…
Some of our team managed to eat half a dozen of them each, so that means tons of calories to burn now…
