Bob Wills used one on San Antonio Rose.
Found that out when I found out that a lap steel was Not the same thing as a dobro.

That's so cool. You know, I am enjoying my Rogue RLS-1 lap steel guitar sense monday, march second. I thought for years that you needed a pedal steel to get those beautiful sounds. Turns out, nope. Lap steel came first.

A red lap steel–style electric guitar is lying horizontally across a dark navy-blue bedspread. The body is a long, narrow rectangle with rounded ends, finished in a bright glossy red. It looks like a lap steel (flat, no hollow body shape and no visible β€œwaist” like a standard guitar).

Along the center runs a long black fretboard with thin white fret lines across it. Instead of round dot inlays, there are white rectangular/boxed position markers with small internal markings, spaced at typical fret locations, giving it a very β€œdiagram” or β€œgrid” look. The strings run straight down the middle from the headstock to the bridge end, and there appear to be six strings.

On the left end is the headstock area, also red, with a white script logo that reads "rogue." Multiple chrome tuning pegs extend from both the top and bottom edges of that end (more than on a typical 3-per-side guitar headstock, consistent with a lap steel layout). Just past the nut area you can see the strings supported by a raised bar/nut piece, and the strings then cross onto the fretboard.

On the right end is a large, shiny silver metal plate covering the bridge/pickup/control area. The plate is rectangular with rounded corners and visible screws. Near the top edge of this plate are two chrome control knobs. In the center-left portion of the plate there’s a long, rounded-rectangle opening where the pickup sits (a dark slot). At the far right side of the plate is the bridge assembly: a raised metal bridge with multiple small saddles and adjustment screws lined up, one per string, with the strings anchored there. A black instrument cable is plugged into the guitar on the right side area and arcs upward.

Above the guitar, occupying the upper part of the image, is a black soft gig bag or padded case, partly unzipped or folded, with stitched seams and a couple of strap/handle pieces visible.

Below the guitar, near its middle, there’s a small teal/blue-green plastic pack lying on the bed. It has a black label area with white text; the clearest readable part is β€œWARM” (the rest is cut off or obscured). The pack looks like it could be strings or an accessory package.

In the lower left area, a black cable snakes across the bed and down toward the floor. Attached to one end is a small white rectangular adapter with a short connector protruding. Near the bottom left corner you can see part of a small amplifier or speaker cabinet: black with a textured front grille and a visible corner/edge.

At the very bottom of the photo, part of a dark piece of furniture (possibly the edge of a chair or desk is visible, curving into the frame. On the right edge, there’s a strip of gray textured fabric or rug. In the far lower background, a small section of tan/brown tiled floor is visible with additional cables running across it.

I just got my steel guitar on Monday, march second of this year and I love it.
If you play the steel guitar, I am in C6 and just getting into it. So by all means, give me your tips and tricks.

I made this song to encourage imperfect people to remember that God's not done with you yet. And last time I checked, we were all imperfect people.

Here in Southwest pennsylvania, we're getting record breaking cold. So that's not much of a surprise.

In short, do what the officers tell you to do and you won't have any problems. The protesters should be arrested if they are impeding ICE officers. Get all of my thoughts here.

I know I am having a time going through settings to try and figure stuff out being blind lol. So I think the 320 is the little brother to the RF919.
and by the way just FYI, I have figured out how to scan just the presets on UHF, VHF, and Airband if you have not yet figured that out.

Yes it truly is.
Do you have one then? I love mine. There's so many unique settings you can turn on or off.

It will now scan your presets on that band with a short ATS press. a long press will remove your memories and or presets so be careful.
Note that that will need to be turned on for each band you will want to scan.
Just figured all of this out. I hope it helps Raddy RF919 owners out there.

Figured out how to save memories on my Raddy RF919. Hold down the preset key for a second, bottom right of the wheel. Then short press to save.
Want to scan your presets? Make sure your in WT. Long press settings, top right of wheel, scrole to WT, press little wheel, turn WT on... To be continued.

rite now it feels like he's entered us into another conflict but, I am also aware that I don't see the bigger picture from the prospective of the oval office. So I am trying to see that prospective in my reasoning for why and legally how Trump could do such a thing.

07.01.2026 00:18 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I mean yes and no. Because they said he was a threat and left it there. Trump rite or wrong did take action. You know, when you take that oath of the presidency you are to protect from both foreign and domestic.
Did Trump protect?
I really don't know.

07.01.2026 00:16 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I'm not a fan of him taking their oil like that. But, Maduro did need captured.

06.01.2026 22:31 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Here's how I am seeing all of this. When he takes that oath of office, he's promising to protect us from foreign and domestic enemies. Maduro became the President through in such a way that just about everybody says he shouldn't have been there. Thus, protecting us from a terrorist.

06.01.2026 19:51 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Presidents often claim "inherent authority" as Commander-in-Chief to protect U.S. national interests or personnel. But then you have the controversial 1989 Department of Justice memo (the "Barr Memo") which asserts the President can order the abduction of foreign nationals to enforce U.S. laws.

06.01.2026 19:48 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

exactly. And for the record, I did not vote for Trump or Kamala I say that because the fact of the matter is that rather I or you like it or not, Trump is president. Democrats really should think about their message because their not doing themselves any favors by attacking a sitting president.

06.01.2026 19:37 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I mean if a federal government puts a bounty on somebody, their going to be captured one way or another. It just feels like people are complaining because it happened under Trump. Is it another sign of Trump Derangement Syndrome? It's just not computing in my brain here.

06.01.2026 19:22 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I don't get it. Trump and Biden both put a bounty on Maduro, Maduro's captured under Trump, people go into meltdown mode. Is it because he was captured under Trump? Obama, Trump, Biden, they all said Maduro is dangerous and needs captured so why the outrage? Serious question. What am I missing.

My grandfather used to say that "there's a lot of Mistakes up there at the cemetery." Guess he's not wrong. Not one little bit. Anyway, the video details everything. Feel free to Share my story. I hope it helps somebody out there. I truly do.

But, that is where I am at currently. If you watch the video, maybe you will understand why I feel the way I do. They caused this, they won't take responsibility and fix it so, I'm going to let my body naturally heal itself and never do bloodwork again.

09.12.2025 19:44 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

My arm is better then what it was when this all began but still not 100 percent so, I'm just going to let it do it's thing. It's not bleeding internally so life isn't in danger anymore but still. This is just a level of stupidity which really makes me not trust those in the field and that's just sad

My medical storyβ€”experience with bloodwork YouTube video by Brother Timothy Clark

You know, I used to think that our medical community in the US was the best. Turns out, I was wrong. This video details how I personally believe I nearly died. Couldn't even schedule an ultrasound over a code of all things. Unacceptable.
