Hi Jane, yes, I write a historical series and I'm just finishing the third in that series.
Absolutely delighted that the fabulous team at Bedford Square/No Exit Press have licensed audio rights to KNIT ONE, HEIST ONE. It's the first book of mine to be an audio book & I'm so excited. I can't wait to find out who the reader will be. I've also seen an early draft of the cover, and I love it.

Ooooh, I do love a book subscription package and when two arrive on the same day, that's even better. From @flyonthewallpress.bsky.social and Bodies in the Bookshop in Cambridge. Delicious.
I love Chris' books, both the thrillers and the Good Thief's Guide series - that was a lot of fun. I hope there'll be a new one some time.

Chuffed to little mint balls to announce that the fabulous @bedsqpublishers.bsky.social will be publishing KNIT ONE, HEIST ONE, a crime caper set in a retirement community where the residents fight against a dodgy developer by knitting fetishwear, unarmed robbery and some light kidnapping.
Weβre proud to announce that Glasgow Womenβs Library is now officially recognised as a Library of Sanctuary β the first in Scotland ππ
This honour celebrates our long-standing work, creating a welcoming, inclusive space for women β especially those seeking sanctuary.

Ooooh, just spotted that the Kindle version of The Devil's Draper is now only Β£1.99 on Amazon (in the UK at least). Not sure how long that promotion will last, so if you'd like to read it, this might be your chance! And for fun, have this photo of a red squirrel eating a nut
Oh, thank you SO much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it, that's lovely to hear. And thank you also for taking the time to leave such a fab review. That is much appreciated!
Oooooh, thank you so much Alastair Mabbott and @heraldscotland.bsky.social for this fabulous review of The Devil's Draper. I particularly love this quote: "a warm, engaging novel about female spaces and sisterly solidarity triumphing over a misogynistic, narrow-minded system." Very chuffed.
So excited to be in The Scotsman today. A whole 3 pages!
