Losing catchups is a huge shame as now there’s no real way to, well, catch up with the ongoing stuff unless you buy ebooks (which look is fine, but as someone who massively prefers print that just pushes me to buying JP releases instead). Also means paying more for less despite no price increase.

The hate is how these shallow creeps got through life. No one taught them emotional intelligence or self control. The problem isn’t external. So how will we straighten them out? Group therapy on a massive scale. Violence and vitriol solve nothing.

Thing of it is, the "of their time" argument regarding eugenics is actually a horrible get-out clause.
And yet, we have to recognise that we still live in a eugenicist society TODAY and many people still hold metaeugenicst ideas alongside their ableism - so they are also "of their time".

The best part of America has always been that even while we always fail to live up to the dream of America, the dream itself is beautiful and perfect and earnest people are always trying to make it ever more real and contend with our innumerable human failings.
I think it’s high time we take back the national narrative. For centuries Americans of all races, genders, religions, and abilities have worked to create a more perfect union, and we should shout from the rooftops that WE are America. Not these idiot white supremacist authoritarians.
Trump and RFK Jr.’s nonsense about Tylenol and autism isn’t just about spreading misinformation: it is about dismantling the decades of work that it took to reorient society from fearing autism to focusing on making the world more welcoming to #ActuallyAutistic people.
