6 years ago, a few friends made a crappy little website in a flooded office in Houston.
6 years later, with a whole lot more friends and neighbors, the love remains the same.
Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts for 6 years of CSR-ing. <3

We are actively preparing for an activation for #Idalia.
Three SAR teams are already en route.
If you can support (lot of miles to cover, very quickly), PLEASE DO: crowdsourcerescue.org/donate
We're coming into this running on fumes, anything you can chip in will go a long way.

First of SEVEN hurricane hunter flights for #10L leaves Sun at ~4 AM CT.
NHC is taking (presumable) Hurricane Idalia seriously. You should too if you're in Florida; the forecast models have it somewhat subdued right now, but similar storms saw rapid and unexpected intensification (e.g. Michael)

Hello friends!
Many thanks to @andrewrumbach.bsky.social for getting on BS.
So far our plans are to use this to talk about the pitfalls of command-and-control disaster response, without the EMs getting mad (it's a new tech, so it'll take them 4 or 5 years to get on here 😜).
