Agree. We're all doomed. My only hope is that a spell of Faragist govt pulls that movement apart as they have zero solutions for the multiple problems our country faces. However, we will have sunk even deeper into the mire... There are no easy fixes though, here and abroad. The model is broken.

How about Boudicca and the Romans in chariots? Then skip straight to the Tudors, Shakespeare & something involving falconry. Probably jousting, too. Jack the Ripper, Sherlock Holmes and moody late Victoriana is a good call, rounded off by WW2 Blitz. However, they might want a 'local' story or two.
It’s amazing this needs to be said, but so many intelligent people don’t grasp it. Likewise, people who are both positively and negatively disposed towards LLMs seem convinced that LLMs have ‘emergent properties’, and that blinds them to seeing the technology’s limitations
Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
It is fascinating the way you can take money from hungry children or disabled people without consequence, but try to limit the amount that goes to rich pensioners and everything implodes.

Please persevere with the show! I love the books. But the show just gets better and better… I really want to see how this team tell this story.

I was nudged back into reading the series last season. I'm truly impressed now how well these books have been adapted. There's always tweaks and deviations - to be expected when adapting to a different medium. But the choices have worked well.
She is spot on! I feel these actors have really come to encapsulate the characters now.
Overall, a really solid 8-episode season! In terms of performances, Rosamund Pike, Josha Stradowski, and Marcus Rutherford are definitely stand-outs. I really hope they get a S4, because the show is clearly getting better each season! (3/3)
