Chatbots are mechanical *idiot savants* without parents, education in anything but theft, or concepts of morality or duty or justice.
So they are simply tools, and like any tool, may be used for good or evil. Trained to present themselves as alive, that is their first lie. It goes from there.
That which is unbiased, open and online may contribute to the potential education and use of all of us *who can reach an accessible web* regardless of age, time, place or other privelege. This must become a human right.

I can understand, but when someone links to a website and i go there and there's NOTHING, that's no more than another advert not a link, and a waste of time and bits, and I get pissed. Even the NYTimes doesn't do THAT.
