Sounds great! What time and which location?

part of me want's to say it's "just a demo" but I'm going to try to briefly enjoy this win, the product of so much hard work, hard decisions, careful planning, and calculated risk
One of my career #gamedev goals has been to get into the "Overwhelmingly Positive" review category on Steam. Thanks to the hard work of the team and our great community the Dead as Disco demo made it! 560 reviews, 99% positive. I don't even know how to react store.steampowered.com/app/3763830/...
As an engineer, one of the best lessons of my career has been to actually watch people using the tech once you think itโs done. Itโs so humbling when the unexpected weird workaround start coming out
Sometimes there's new concept art, that's "just" an iteration on previous art, but it locks the essence of the subject in so well. It's so satisfying to watch and be able to help build that
This is going to be fun! Iโm excited to see what players put out there with no NDA #gamedev
this is a roundabout way of me saying I'm re-learning the lesson to not schedule a first release candidate build for 12 hours before it's set to be played by users
A tricky thing about #gamedev, particularly indie/startup, is the constant squeeze from both sides of the timeline (1) do it fast, get it in front of players and (2) make sure it's good, even at first try, because that's often all you get
As a first post, this is unlikely to get any traction, but I have to start somewhere ๐บ
Dead as Disco is available to wishlist on Steam! It's already so much fun and I can't wait for us to be ready to release a demo soon
