i liked how umiri can clearly dig into what taki's feeling when the latter has trouble vocalizing it. something like that is good for taki and ultimately the better option, but damned if being taki isn't suffering when this annoying pink stranger made 3x as much progress with tomori than taki did

it's such an indescribable feeling when there's food for underappreciated pairs 🥺🥹 when you reach a point where you think, 'oh, so i'm NOT crazy or alone in this, others can see it too!'

even thru osmosis i heard about avemuji being divisive/controversial lol. but sometimes good art is polarizing! a story can be near perfect, but if your brain chooses to hone in on something else bc it's more fascinating, we can't pick what activates our neurons! mygo finale is an incredible hook 👀

if rana had like, any reaction to soyo's scheme, i probs would feel different, bc she's ultimately a plot device that brings some levity. taki is only marginally above her in terms of exploration bc of her ties to crychic. and bc i felt nothing, i'm not incentivized to learn more either, sorry;;

finished mygo; it was p good. the girls are fine (i think i like anon the most). cheers to soyo being a messy bitch. imo rana felt kinda superfluous? not that i dislike her, i just didn't feel anything for her. she was there to move things along but that's it. also i feel bad for taki -> tomori lol

i think the reason why shiningale lasted for so long is bc their entire existences and narratives are tied together; you can't have one without the other. esp since liz is shining's reason for living, so it's very unlikely--if not impossible--to imagine someone else taking that spot in her heart

it's fine to still be attached to og pairs! hell, i haven't let go of blazethroat for example, even if i like bleizi too. or siege/indra, or lin/swire... the future feels so uncertain for most, bc you never know if they'll introduce a new character for the express purpose of breaking ppl up lol

friend joked that the longer ak goes on, the more they try to "break up" the og ships by giving them new relationships, and so far only shiningale escaped this, which just goes to show the strongest and most enduring yuri is when it's mutually codependent and devoted. always the girl over the world

seeing ak newbies talk about the story/characters as a current player is surreal. while i've shifted my preference to certain ships, sometimes i get sadly nostalgic over some of the early ones... like angsty mostima/exusiai, hoshich'en, or the peak renaissance era of skaspec with nun specter...

silver lining is that eventually the "ex-wife" memes dwindled to the point you'd get criticized for it, and i can only hope something similar happens with air groove. understand both kal and groove have so much love in their hearts, but ppl who don't read reduce them to being frosty and unreasonable

i think part of why i like air groove so much is that she reminds me of kal'tsit, and the awful way ak fandom depicted (and still does, to an extent) her in reductive, ooc ways. ex-wife kal is akin to groove hating rudolf's jokes; a blatant misreading of their characters bc it's "funny" (it's not)
