Hello #ChemSky! New year, new lab, and now also with a new website: systemschemistry-lab.chimie.unistra.fr
Check out for what @guillemonreals.bsky.social and myself are up to in the Laboratory of Systems Chemistry π
Interested in oscillations? Thinking about doing a PhD? There is an opportunity to study electrochemically controlling oscillating chemistry (project P9 - "Dial a solvent") in collaboration with me and Charlotte Willans at York.

Interested in creating new decision-making materials based on electrochemically programmable protein networks?
Fully funded 4-year PhD supported by #ERC at @uobchemistry.bsky.social for UK-home student.
Check out link for details:

As a heads up, I'll shortly be posting two PhD vacancies in Systems Chemistry at the University of Birmingham School of Chemistry, UK.
Hello #chemsky! Happy to be here on this nice blue platform. My first post here will be an announcement:
From 1st of December on it will be "Monsieur le Professeur". Got a tenure-track at UMR7140 Chimie de la Matière Complexe, in my beloved Strasbourg - I couldn't ask for more!
And that's it!
I'll probably lurk/post once or twice a year, as it normally goes for me and social media, but hi everyone :)
And here is Yannick, who will be my colleague soon
@yannickgeiger.bsky.social
Looking forward to our co-dependency/collaboration :)
Speaking of the group, here is some of the brilliant people that work or have worked with me in the last two years (none of them are in bluesky afaik)
You can also read the editorial of a collection in Communications Chemistry that I recently co-edited with @lorraineleon.bsky.social and @spruijtlab.bsky.social
We got very cool papers, and it aligns well with the interests of the group

If you want to know more about what we do, you can start with our recent preprint
(also, first preprint of the group! π)

Broadly speaking, the goal of my lab is to use coacervates to control complex processes, such as chemical reactions, self-assembly, or crystallization. We also try to find new ways of making dynamic coacervates, which can move, split, or age
Okay, time for a quick introduction for #chemsky
I'm Guillermo, and since 2022, I've been an assistant professor in the amazing city of Strasbourg, working on the intersection between coacervates and supramolecular / systems chemistry
We have an opening for a new PhD student in my group at
University of Warwick for a Autumn 2025 start. Join us and help make cool mechanically interlocked molecules with healthcare applications βπ§ͺπ¬π₯Ό. Please RT and spread to any interested candidatesπ.

I made a starter pack for the Systems Chemistry community: go.bsky.app/VULkeAC
I haven't found everyone yet, so I will update it regularly.
Drop a message if you're in #systemschemistry but not listed yet.
