So, while we have not yet had clear evidence of verification of alien life released to the general public, he has now let us know that zombies are real.

If only such a thing would actually happen.
*They* are not constrained by the artificial limitations our current administration claims have been placed upon them in regard to those files.
And he will promptly threaten them with tariffs in retaliation for not investing in US-based stuff.
That seems to be his fallback when he throws a tantrum because things donβt go the way he wants them to go.
Stupid feels. π₯Ή
Day 225.75 of my cover challenge:
(2018) The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain does Bowie.

youtu.be/0zCdwBqfmYA?...
I love playing mine.
I got it because I travel a lot, and this will actually fit into my backpack while still inside its well-padded case.
Mineβs an Ohana OβNino Sopranissimo. (The rather colorful soft cloth strap is made by the very nice lady from Massachusetts at #QuiltsAndUkuleles)
I have a lovely Kala U*Bass Fretless Rumbler.
Absolutely wonderful.
My 35-fret baritone guitarlin and my 12 fret sopranissimo ukulele right next to each other. The uke is not quite as tall as the body of the guitarlin.
When a Great Dane and a Chihuahua are best friends
Looks a little bit like my Ohana Sopranissimo ukulele.
Well, isnβt *that* just a fucking shocker? /sarcasm
These assholes are as transparent as a freshly cleaned glass window.
Reminds me of when Bush said βRead my lips, no new taxesβ.
We didnβt end up with a mustache or a toe tax, but he never said he wouldnβt *raise* taxes.
Iβm also reminded of a contract dispute involving a missing comma, which ended badly for the big bad company who tried to screw their people over.
I'll be driving to Medina, Ohio in a couple weeks for a Christmas Performers' Workshop event there. (The second of three workshops run by Santa True.)
Being Mrs Claus is a lot more work than you might realize, so honing my craft is necessary. It's well worth the effort of driving nearly 11 hours.
Looks like it'll be a relatively quiet weekend for me, which is welcome. Healing up is what I need to focus on, really, although I'm lousy at taking my own advice.
One can but hope, right?
I'll probably get into Diablo III and kill monsters for a bit at some point tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.
A little over a week since my surgery and I seem to be recovering well.
I still have to avoid picking up anything that weighs over 15 pounds for the next three weeks, and have the same sort of prohibition about bending over, since they had to repair a serious hernia they found in there.
Iβve got more surgery this coming Wednesday. Hoping Iβll be on the road to recovery after that.
Getting ready for the holidays already.
The elves are busy in the workshop, doing all the heavy lifting, and Santa has found the Key to the Cookie Vault. I'm going to have to talk with Blitzen about this.
Yes, I'm Mrs Claus during the holidays. www.neacts.com

In the hospital for another few days, getting things up to speed with a PICC line attached to a TPN for the next few weeks, then another bowel resection, THIS time near the entrance to my stomach.
Gonna do everything possible to obliterate this ulcer, once and for all.
This has probably come out because Trump is threatening to terminate govt contracts with him now. π€£
In San Antonio today, plainclothes ICE officers (not masked this time) arrested, handcuffed, and zip-tied a family of five (yes, ALL of them, including the little children) coming out of their immigration court hearing β which ICE had just had dismissed.

A wonderful photographer came by my booth at the #VermontSciFiFantasyAndHorrorExpo and took this wonderful photo of me...
It's become my new official headshot and is also on my performer business cards.
Sorry I'm only just getting back to you. Medical issues worsened, but now on the mend.
I love so much of what goes on at the Expo so it's difficult to choosen just *one*, and I love the folks at #VermontGatherings.
I *do* write books, so connecting with readers and other writers rocks. π
Recovering from my latest hand surgery.
Hopefully this will be the last one my right hand requires.

First day at the Vermont Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Expo completed. One more day here, and I look forward to meeting more folks!
Got a new hat todayβ¦
FarceBlΓΆrt appears to have a shadowban on Heather Cox Richardson that's been ongoing since sometime March 25, 2025.
Does this imply that Z is frightened of HCR?

Laying in my bed in the horse puddle, getting a graphic novel version of Tech Support: An Infernal Tale, ready for publication. It will contain not only the graphic novel, but the short story it is based upon.
Really looking forward to getting it out there.
Diagnosed with what will likely be a lifelong condition that will need to be managed carefully.
Lucky me.
The wrist continues to heal, though not as quickly as I would like it to heal. My cast is supposed to come off on the 14th, so as it will be Pi Day that day I will, of course have pi(e) to celebrate the removal.
Then, unhindered strumming will commence!
