I just want to be myself without it fucking backfiring in some way. I feel like I'm navigating a minefield that only gets bigger the longer I resist just deciding to be a huge cunt to everyone I meet instead. Shit doesn't always blow up but I've lost a lot of toes, man.

In the last panel, Victor notices me from across the room and his head and ears perk up.
The rest of the comic. In the first panel, Victor stands up on all four legs and simultaneously shakes his head very rapidly, his face blurring. In the next panel, his eyes and mouth are wide open in an adorable expression, and his tail stands straight up affectionately, with small hearts floating around his face. A speech bubble stretches across the two panels, changing visually to go along with his expressions in each panel, as he says "Bbrbrbrrbreoowr!" (Meowing loudly with the first part distorted by his head shaking). In the very last panel I am making a very silly expression while looking down at Victor with astonished affection.
