In my opinion, Labour are failing to deliver their promised ban on conversion therapy because any legally robust definition of it would show that the NHS are doing it to trans people, and implicate this government in the practice. 4/5

I have a patreon. Itβs Β£3 a month & you get to see some art every Saturday, either a finished comic page from Worms, my gothic horror comic, or process images of the previous weeks page (pencils, inks, textures). Itβs pretty cool & helps me out a lot. www.patreon.com/erikapriceart
Dusting off my theory that the reason the right wing press went so hard on portraying Media Studies as a "Mickey Mouse degree" in the 1990s is because they didn't want a generation of people growing up able to call out this bullshit.

Am back home so will be slowly working through orders and correspondence and what work I can manage. Going to be taking things slow though as Iβve still got recovering to do
If you have not read Persepolis you should, it is an extremely powerful graphic novel thats available for free on the Internet Archive: archive.org/details/pers... Though I would also highly reccomend supporting Marjane directly and purchasing it as well.
Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads: The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same... - Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist
Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.
Am definitely on the mend, thank you π
Thanks π
Thank you!
Thank you π I will be. Got too much stuff to do to not be π€
Iβm fine atm mostly? I have an absess on my tonsil (whimsically called a quinsy) been getting stuck full of antibiotics to get the swelling down so they can drain it. Itβs been a weekend
I am in the hospital atm so if youβre waiting on anything from me (correspondence, shop orders) I promise you as soon as they let me go I will get on it.
"Artists peak at 30", "30 under 30", "by 30 you should" ridiculous. Arts industries capital craves young people to exploit and burn out. It doesn't want older artists thriving and guiding the young. It also doesn't want artists to exist. Stop letting cannibals tell you you only matter on a plate.
Thanks so much!
