Makes me happy that two games I was extremely interested in/excited for released on the SAME DAY, and are BOTH slam dunks. Feels great.

I genuinely think it's probably worth more than modern mainline Pokemon games given they seem to release in a barely playable state nowadays. This one feels like it got the time and love it deserved.

I gotta say, I know people are really contending the price of Pokopia, but after 6 or so hours of gameplay and seeing what I have yet to unlock and the amount of things I can do... It's genuinely a fine price. Like there's a LOT of content here, and it's a very fun and chill game.

Yeah really my only issue and it's such a minor one is that while streaming, for some reason the Regent's attack animation lags a bit, which is notable when using multi-hit like Stardust or something. But other than that it's been a blast.

Yeah I did one run with Mes and very much plan to play a lot more of it. I love the unique cards for it. Feels very fleshed out for early access. We had a disconnect and it saves current floor to rejoin at so that’s really nice.

Yeah same. If we get any more characters during the development period, I hope they’re as distinct as Regent and Necrobinder feel. I’ve been loving both of them and a lot of the new cards for the original three are fun.

I’m in that boat yeah. Curious about Gecqua since it’s probably the more interesting of the three design wise, but like you said evolutions first before I make a decision.

I do love the art and memes that’ve come out, yeah. The community is usually great for that. I think if I’m picking anything currently it’s Gecqua but I wanna see their evolutions first

I can’t speak to getting excited as I usually don’t get excited for these kind of things anyway (I don’t tend to be a hype kind of person), but usually I come away liking one enough to know I’m picking it. As it stands right now, this might be the first game my starter doesn’t stay in the team.

I wouldn’t consider myself a jaded Pokemon fan by any means but I am very surprised by the outpouring of love for the new starters. I thought they all looked very bland and boring personally. But to each their own and I guess I’m glad people like ‘em.
