Itβs Shearing Day this Saturday, March 7th! We are looking for some volunteers to come and help out! We will feed you! Shearing is about 10am so we need folks between 9:30 - 9:45am. It will be fun and educational! Most know that I had emergency eye surgery on Feb 14 and I canβt do a lot of lifting.
Happy 6th birthday to our best ever guard dog, Liam! Heβs a leap puppy!
Getting old sucks! Got a torn retina yesterday and headed down to Mass General today for surgery. Thank God for wonderful friends who helped with feeding the flock today. Now, Dave down for the next week.
Guess what Iβll be doing after my toes thaw out!
Guess Iβm not tapping trees quite yet.
Lovinβ the lambies.

Theyβre figuring it out!

Itβs amazing what you can get done when the temperature is over 25F! Got the lamb creep built. The lambs now have their own gathering and dining space.
This morning, we welcomed Ellie into the world. Daughter of Baby. I have a feeling there may be another one coming. Fingers crossed.
Gotta love a good sun spot! Ethan and Edward are resting while mom eats.
Oh, the joys of living in a snow state! We received about 18β of very fluffy snow last night and today. I got the drive plowed enough for now and pretty it up tomorrow. Between that and hauling 50 gal of water to the barn every day, Iβm exhausted!

We are all tucked in with a buffet never ending bar. The lambs are dressed in new and larger jammies. Iβll be the only one going out in the cold!
And Baileyβs Irish Gal gives us Elizabeth! I havenβt weighed her yet but I bet sheβs 15+ pounds. Oh, and lambing season while having Covid is not fun!
Eustice in a bowl.
Thoughts and prayers are needed for our little Englebert. He is inside in hospital. He has a bad heart murmur and unable to nurse. We got him warmed up and are tube feeding him. Itβs hard to know if heβll make it through the night but, weβll keep him comfy.
We are deep into lambing season! This morning, we welcomed Eustice and Englebert to the world. Sons of Anya. Thanks to a friend in England for the names!

Lambies in jammies!i
Not the greatest shots but we welcome Edward and Ethan to the cold world today. Both from Layla. Nice and vocal!
Got a live Christmas tree? Our sheep love them! Please, no trees that have been sprayed with anything or have tensile on them. The evergreen leaves are full of Vit C. Please message me if you would like to drop one off or dump it in front of the barn and Iβll give it to the sheep!
Hey all! I will be heading down to Bucks County Fur Products on Thursday, Jan 29. Please message me with any questions. You can bring pelts to the farm anytime.
Marry Christmas from our flock to yours!
