You assume wages are an either/or debate. Both scenarios can be true. See any developed country who has universal healthcare. This is an assumption, not fact.

Yes. Because the 8-12% is half my cost in premiums, deductible, and unexpected care. 4 years later, we are still paying for our first child’s birth, even after deductions.

We don’t have access to most of these anyway… you assume we wouldn’t in a universal environment. This is factually inaccurate.

Sure. Opt out = no more fed or state taxpayer funding.

This isn’t a real scenario, even in large metro areas. Even “private” hospital systems receive significant taxpayer funding to survive, and today (sadly) they “opt out” in the underserved communities while funded. See: Wellstar Atlanta Medical

It’s been way too long. So what have I been up to?

I’ve dove head-first into human-centered design. Really immersing myself in how I can empathize with people in all that I do.

It’s been a fascinating journey, and I look forward to sharing.

Spending today reflecting after a very impactful coaching session on Thursday, followed by a formative podcast yesterday and today.

The realization that my procrastination and deflection is a direct correlation to fear of the unknown is clear. It’s time to charge in head-on.

Anthropic agrees to pay $1.5 billion to settle authors' copyright lawsuit Authors had sued Anthropic, claiming the artificial intelligence startup had illegally used their books to train its models.

I'm a believer that #AI is beneficial as a tool. However, using creative/intellectual property without credit and/or compensation is unacceptable. Although this class-action settlement is a good 1st step, there is much work ahead.

I’m half thru. I never thought I’d love a first-person epic fantasy so much.

There’s already been so much action and world building. Fantastic. Magic system is familiar, but unique. Still discovering.

But we are back at it. Second edit was completed, and I got a structural perspective. Next step is to give the book that connective tissue and tangible takeaways. #amwriting

I’m getting the hang of this, almost to a fault. Now I want to take the existing chapters and break them into parts, and using the sections as sub-chapters.
