Thank you so much, I really appreciate that ♥️
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that ♥️
Thank you RTÉ for making so many of my dreams come true. You have been a huge and significant chapter of my life. To use a famous Fanning phrase, it has been FAB! ♥️
For now I’m taking a step back from my career to concentrate on caring for my Dad who is living with Alzheimer’s but I look forward to what the next chapter might bring when the time is right.
So to everyone I’ve worked alongside in RTÉ Online, the RTÉ Press Office, RTÉ 2fm, RTÉ Radio 1 and RTÉ Gold over my 25 years I say thank you for your friendship, your support, your guidance, for the fun and the craic, for all these wonderful memories I will cherish forever.
These past 25 years have been filled with so many wonderful highlights I couldn’t possibly list them all but my lasting memories will be of the people I’ve worked with over the years who have become a second family. They are what I’ll miss most of all.
I hope that everyone who walks through those doors for the first time as an employee in the future never takes that feeling for granted. It is a privilege and a joy to work in an exciting, creative industry producing content that means so much to some people.
That feeling I got the first day I walked through the doors of RTÉ and realised that I was now one of these people I grew up watching and listening to was something special
that I would work alongside broadcasters and production staff whose names were so familiar to me, and that they would become not just my colleagues but my friends.
After 25 years and an amazing career, I’m saying goodbye to RTÉ on December 31st. Eleven year old me who got a boom box for Christmas and listened religiously to 2fm throughout my teenage years never thought that one day RTÉ would become my second home

Everytime I log into BlueSky and see the butterfly I just can’t help but think of the Morpho machine in The Big Door Prize 🤣 IYKYK
It's time. Every Xmas I run a charity appeal to raise funds for worthwhile causes. So far, in six years, we've made almost €230,000. You are always the most generous of givers.
This year our two benefiting charities will be the DSPCA and UNICEF Ireland's Gaza and Lebanon Appeal.
