me? oh nothing, just reminiscing on how 2007 was such a glorious time for free media.

Not to mention people’s general addiction to short form content. They don’t even have the attention span for video games.

Social media could easily be fixed if the platforms filtered disengaged and negative interactions from the feed metric algorithm.

The question is, why hasn’t it?

And why do posts like this get only 4 views? Nobody is interested in this topic?

I’ve always loved the idea of a shared map where people can post things going on

I don’t think the focus should be strictly consumer experiences, as I think people on a whole must get out and just do and see things. The world needs less connection around spending.

This weekend I learned Max for Live and built a WebSocket relay server in Go to push real-time updates to my generative art visualizers for live shows. The system is finally snapping together and it feels good. Devlog dropping this week.
