This is the kind of thing a rich CEO says at the beginning of a science fiction movie to establish for the audience that he is a sociopath and the villain.
Honest question: why are scientific journals so reluctant to adopt #double-blind peer review?
After all, do we really need to know the authorsโ identities to evaluate the scientific merit of a manuscript?

Amazing piece of work!! congrats @edogia.bsky.social @escolizzi.bsky.social and all the authors ๐ ๐
How could a simple self-replicating system emerge at the origins of life? RNA polymerase ribozymes can replicate RNA, but existing ones are so large that their self-replication seems impossible. Could they be smaller?
Excited to share our latest work in @science.org on a new small polymerase.

Latin America is a richly diverse region of the world that holds extraordinary potential for #singlecell and #spatialgenomics research. Yet LatAm countries remain significantly underrepresented in single-cell publications, with limited access to training and development.
This is today - please come along if interested!

This is a very special paper for me. I had the idea of combining transcription factor binding with chromatin in 2016/8. It took some time, but thanks to Fred and Vikas, we can finally share the story in @plos.org Genetics looking at chromatin states in Arabidopsis and Marchantia. #PlantScience
