How about actually reading yourself - what you just posted was wrong,
It shut the border based on number of encounters - not number of people. It increased Cho staffing. It added more fentanyl detecting machines. Etc…have you bothered to even read it?
No it didn’t. It literally eliminated catch and release. Only mothers with minor children were released. Everyone else stayed in detention until it was determined they qualified for asylum or not. It added 700 miles of the stupid wall. It added $$ to the courts to speed up deportations.
It actually addressed a lot of issues. It would have helped.
Democrats did support it. It would have had an excellent chance to pass if the gop hadn’t be stymied by your cult leader.
First, you can’t shut the border. It isn’t a door. That fixes absolutely nothing. Second, the new bill actually addressed most of the issues republicans had. Why lie about it?
