Welcome to the mobile gaming market, Gacha is a staple and has been largely unregulated for ages now
Unfortunately just how the industry does it

What about Bloober Mario 64, which was their name up until Sunshine renamed them to Bloopers. I think that might be better than Blooper Mario 64
If there's anyone I trust to embody their hubris it's definitely you. Potentially the best figurehead for hubris right here
Honestly kinda hilarious looking back in the post linked above and seeing all these deleted replies that very obviously come from the moderator that made the post
It's only been 14 hours and they're already getting paranoid about what they're saying to people, cause no one agrees with them
Not to mention it wasn't even "for 2026", pretty sure he just said that multiple heroes were being considered for potential reworks, no time or date or anything mentioned
I know you gotta be quick to act with news reporting, but maybe you should take a little longer to detail what was said better?
This graphic is so bad man, people are gonna see this at a glance and think heroes *are* being reworked when it's not even a guarantee at the moment
You're a trusted news source for a lot of the playerbase, and you should seriously be putting way more care into these posts before you mislead people
A concept page of my character Brioche, a baker dough-mancer girl who controls dough and summons (bakes) bread creatures to fight for her
Brioche the Doughmancer ๐ซ
From what I've seen others do that tends to be the standard, maybe a community discord if you can manage that but not everyone does that
I think most of the time people are just happy to have an avenue to support the project, and the little bonuses are just that, bonuses for the support
Genuinely one of the only actual proper uses of "slop", something just to be consumed with no care for the actual quality, effort, or substance put into it. You eat it to pass by and quickly move on from what it was like
The whole thing feels very unresolved to me. Maybe it's at most being put on the backburner for now, but, saying it's "concluded" is jumping the gun given there literally has not been a resolution to it yet. I have no clue why people are thinking it's over when it so plainly just, isn't?
Saying it's concluded feels like an incredibly hasty, major leap assumption, no? The last two entries to me (Ram Comic + Atlas News) feel like it's continuing off the plotline and, if anything, giving room for direction for it, given Zen isn't joining Ram and the NS ships successfully escaped
I don't feel a mental weight but I DO feel a "physical" weight in my mouse hand when I've copied something and haven't pasted it yet (Or at least, don't remember pasting it yet)
Spamton A. Spamton works in mysterious ways, it's probably better not to question it
Ohhh, that's why she acts like that, she accidentally shot herself with her own gay blaster, no wonder
I love when fandom wikis just think of something and roll with it in a trivia section. It's basically the prime section for "idk I think this is right probably" even though there's literally no source or evidence for it
Obviously it comes from a place of love for both things but it's just funny
My doughmoth, Brie, standing at the blue shore of a sunny coast, wearing a white sundress adorned with the pattern of vines with intermittent flowers, and wearing a white sunhat atop her pretzel-braid hair, with her wheatgrain antennae sticking out over top!
This one's been a long-time coming for me personally, but, I finally got a commission of Brie in a proper outfit!
Super super happy with this beautiful piece done by @eviex01.bsky.social, it looks incredible and way better than what I could've imagined on my own!
Ohh, that'd make sense, hope whatever it is you're able to get finished by then as well!
Okay I now realize that "Amy Chen's article" in question is in fact the article I linked above
In which case it would've been nice to source it alongside this post, like you did on the Twitter side of things!
Hey can we get some further context that the Polygon articles that *you guys* cited and partially stoked the flames on all of this because of it actually entirely misrepresented the full quote from the devs, which we now know from this article from esportsgg
esports.gg/news/overwat...
Thank you I''m glad to be a true opinion haver
Also yes!! I think it was in the first notepad gamedev stream? Honestly kinda surprised you recognized me from that of all things lol
Balatro, despite literally being poker, actually has an incredible amount of run control in the form of deckfixing, just like most other deck-based roguelikes (Slay the Spire, for example)
I love games like Haste, Have a Nice Death, Ember Knights, Going Under, they're all great, skill-based games
I've loved Roguelikes for a *while* but I think the most fun ones are the ones that give you some form of control over your run instead of pure luck
Risk of Rain 2 does this really well with Scrappers and Printers, allowing you to control your items and "build" with a bit of luck, for example
Kitsune *could* be explained through some sort of psychological rage/high induced by the Kitsune's powers
It's very much still possible with tech, especially Overwatch's incredibly futuristic tech, it's just that we've never gotten an actual explanation on it that makes it weird
For the record, here's the two articles in question
Left: www.polygon.com/overwatch-2-...
Right: www.polygon.com/overwatch-2-...
Unless we get a full quote from Daryl I'm not trusting what a Polygon writer who can't even research if Aaron Keller is still the Game Director says about Daryl's words.
Like, maybe Daryl DID say that they wanted to move towards conventionally attractive characters, but the lack of a full quote and the poor research from the writer on another article makes me think this is an attempt to sensationalize the interview to bait interactions, which is very much has done
Hey can we maybe talk about how the "oddballs" quote is entirely lacking context on the full quote from Daryl, as only the word "oddballs" is quoted
And also the fact the person who wrote that article also wrote an article that calls Aaron Keller "former game director", showing his poor research?
I have yet to get a piece with my Brie actually clothed in her normal moth form, so this'll have to do! Hoping this is a fun pick if you do choose me!
Should probably make a followup post here highlighting that it wasn't intentional in case people are thinking this is the OW team's doing when it wasn't
