2) This is a "Dog That Didn't Bark" problem.
3) Those yelling "RESHORE" are often self-serving stakeholders or protectionists showing the policy preferences.
Of all the errors made about the modern global economic system, the worst is to assume that interconnected supply chains are less resilient than relying on domestic production. Evidence is that the exact opposite is the case, however unintuitive that may seem.
