ICE agents killed a man and are disappearing the witnesses.
If they're the good guys, why did they all run away afterward?
I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.
The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.
This country is beyond fucked.
ICE JUST EXECUTED ANOTHER AMERICAN ON A SIDEWALK IN MINNESOTA.
THEY BEAT HIM AND THEN SHOT HIM MULTIPLE TIMES RIGHT IN FRONT OF OTHER PROTESTORS AND CAMERAS.
ICE are domestic terrorists.
Seeing a bunch of normal ass midwestern moms and dads marching in -20 degrees knowing they might be tear gassed or worse really drives home what a cowardly lot of people the pundit class is
That was an execution. And they all ran. All seven of them. They all shot him
If you're okay with any of this fucking unfollow me now
Three ICE shootings in a month in Minneapolis. One confirmed dead, and one is likely based on the video I just saw.
I'm so tired of this shit.
craig is short for craigory send skeet
🦇
I don't have anything funny tonight. I'm just overwhelmed and heartbroken with this shitty, shitty world.
Alt text: Screenshot of a Bluesky post thread in dark mode. At the top, a post by Jamie Leventhal (@jamie-leventhal.bsky.social) reads: “Hi – I’m a video journalist with @nytimes.com. We’d like to get permission to use this video, would you be able to tell us who the original source is? Thanks!” Below it is a reply by Daniel Suitor (@danielsuitor.com) that says: “no, absolutely not, you all should’ve been nicer to my trans homies.” Engagement icons and counts appear beneath the posts, along with a timestamp reading “1:15 PM · Jan 7, 2026.”
This is how you can be an ally. They need to feel the cost of what they've done.
The GOP heard the complaints about police not having adequate training and said, "Let's pay six-figures for an entry-level job that comes with a free gun."
The "NO MORE FOREIGN WARS!" President sure seems like he wants to start an unprovoked foreign war.
William Nilliam was my father's name. Please, call me Willy Nilly.
"I know how we can be relevant to the youth! We can get renowned Reggae artist Shaggy to perform his hit songs Mr. Boombastic, It Wasn't Me, and Angel as a medley!" - The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade creative team, probably.
I really want to be hopeful, but trusting this to a building full of the demographic that falls for Nigerian Prince emails and accidentally adds journalists to their illegal Signal chats doesn't leave me with the most confidence.
I just hope that the caucus has their head on a swivel. They're going to promise you the moon and then pull the rug out from under you again if you're not careful.
But maybe we're playing 3D chess. Maybe the Ds agreed to start the process because they know the GOP isn't good for it.
"We agreed to come back to the table and these dudes still won't work with us to make things happen. Pay attention."
It just seems like such a boneheaded move to start this process when all the GOP has offered is the promise to think about maybe doing some but not all of the things that Democrats want.
Especially since we've already done this once and had all those things rescinded.
I'm less mad this morning, but still frustrated.
The vote last night doesn't mean that the shutdown is over, just that they can start moving towards the end. There are still a couple of votes to go in the Senate and Johnson has to wrangle the House back to order.
Fuck you, Tim.
You watched Democrats run the table in Virginia, saw all but FOUR counties move to the left, saw the first woman be elected Governor and the first Muslin woman to be elected to a statewide office in U.S. history and then you bent the knee.
Sic semper tyrannis. That means you, too.
Old school Democrats out here with their letterman jackets that don't fit quite the same anymore reminiscing about the good old days when the parties could "govern together" like they didn't just pass a bipartisan CR earlier this year and then watch the GOP rescind every single thing they asked for.
Everyone aside from Fetterman is over 65 and not up for reelection.
Chuck Schumer looked at all of us out here hopescrolling for the first time in a year and said, "Not on my watch!"
Internal screaming at the dumpster fire happening around us, external whimsy as we jump through the flames to whatever's on the other side.
It's about balance.
