If they're the good guys, why did they all run away afterward?
I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.
The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.
This country is beyond fucked.

Seeing a bunch of normal ass midwestern moms and dads marching in -20 degrees knowing they might be tear gassed or worse really drives home what a cowardly lot of people the pundit class is

It just seems like such a boneheaded move to start this process when all the GOP has offered is the promise to think about maybe doing some but not all of the things that Democrats want.
Especially since we've already done this once and had all those things rescinded.
I'm less mad this morning, but still frustrated.
The vote last night doesn't mean that the shutdown is over, just that they can start moving towards the end. There are still a couple of votes to go in the Senate and Johnson has to wrangle the House back to order.

You watched Democrats run the table in Virginia, saw all but FOUR counties move to the left, saw the first woman be elected Governor and the first Muslin woman to be elected to a statewide office in U.S. history and then you bent the knee.

Old school Democrats out here with their letterman jackets that don't fit quite the same anymore reminiscing about the good old days when the parties could "govern together" like they didn't just pass a bipartisan CR earlier this year and then watch the GOP rescind every single thing they asked for.
Everyone aside from Fetterman is over 65 and not up for reelection.
