It was a rainy Saturday yesterday with a good amount of thunder. It caused me to sleep most of the day away. Especially when your lying on a heated blanket.

Making it harder for me to really get enough sleep and focus on anything let alone drawing well. I think a lot of us are going through it right now. I do wish everyone well. I'll keep going and doing my best though. I hope to be drawing again soon enough.

It sucks because it seems worse this time, and honestly I think it's just really heavy stress. I am one year into a job I really don't like. Working overnight hours. Just trying to survive in the ever more self destructing US and watching the world go insane. I think it's just wrecking me.

I know I have not posted in a while. I am still trying to but it seems I have suddenly hit a wall. Maybe artist block or something where suddenly I suck at drawing. Not the first time it's happened. It's as if I could never draw well at all. It usually takes some time to get out of it.

To add on, just remind yourself of why you started drawing in the first place. Enjoy it for yourself, and draw for yourself. By doing that you regain a sense of not feeling as if you are drawing to serve others. You naturally enjoy your art, and others will naturally enjoy it as well.

If I were to offer my own take on this, it is easy to feel as if you are obligated to draw more for others once you start getting more attention towards your work. I don't think you have to give the site up per say. You just have to remind yourself to draw for yourself more than for others.
