The nightmare in Prey is one of the worst designed mechanics I've ever come across. At best it's an annoyance as you hide in a closet somewhere and go get a cup of coffee while it times itself out. At worst it just appears in a location you cant avoid it and stalls your game progress.

It should have been the best immersive sim ever made, but it just falls short in so many tiny (and one very large) area.

Writing? Fantastic. Level design? Stellar. Gameplay? Good but extremely fucking jank and stiff. Sound design? So bad that I have to include it here when I would normally just gloss over it.

Truly it is still the game both closest and farthest away from a 10/10 experience.

Coming from someone with around 6k hours in Roll20, 2k hours in Fantasy Grounds, and a few hundred hours in Foundry, I am in absolute awe at how good the Codex is.

MCDM has, once again, absolutely humbled the entire TTRPG industry by making a VTT so many miles better than the next best alternative, that every other one I've tried feels amateurish by comparison. It's absurd how robust and easy-to-use Codex is. I've been grinning like a goblin all night.

This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.
