I hate the myazaki image bullshit as much as most people on here, but if you have the right processes around it (you review it and apply good practices rather than just throwing the output out there) then it is a tool with plenty of use cases

So, from a personal perspective - as a software guy Iβve personally found it useful for prototyping ideas on how to solve problems and test my code etc. It has helped me identify if an idea is worth going after.
Some people will find it doesnβt work for them, some people will. It is a toolβ¦
This is likely to help with prototyping and testing out ideas quickly, which is really needed in what is a very costly development process if it fails.
Considering the state of the industry in terms of games dying on launch etc, Iβd say this is a good use case
A card from PokΓ©mon tcg pocket
As much as I dislike the set, nice to get one of the actual unique cards from it!

A score from kinda hard golf for 14th January 2026
After a shitty work day, not bad...
That's literally more expensive than the likes of Hogwarts and the goddamn Eye of Sauron what the shit.
Most social media feels like this - it's either broken, locked behind systems designed to lock you into engagement cycles or just really fucking boring. Fuck social media honestly (ironic considering where I'm posting this I know)
I sometimes will check Facebook just to see whether anything importants happened. Every now and again, it just does this
It can't even show feeds right now. Why bother.
Sad times π«
I mean, okay?
Get the feeling this is going to end up DOA unless thereβs millions of people in the wings waiting for this π§
Was just looking at setting up OBS on an ultrawide for some streaming or something - it's ass honestly, might have to drag out a second monitor for more estate which is hilarious π
Nice, quiet weekend for me, although managed to get the flooring sorted for the hallway after the great flood which is a win!
Now for the work weekβ¦
Then you look at pre-ordering, allocations and supplier shenanigans and it's all THAT
....because I'm trying to get into Riftbound and it seems way too "hard" for some reason, same with most TCGs by the looks of it?
That moment when you think "I want to start a business" and start looking into all the aspects around setting up a TCG and cool things store.
There's a lot. Maybe I'll just take a nap instead. Or start off online, but first a nap.
β¦of course, itβs always better to give yourselves room from the start. But when you canβt you can still do quality engineering. You just have to be a bit clever about it π€ #qualityengineering #testing
Using things like mob testing, setting up structured logging and monitoring and doing cross-functional release planning (do we really need to do this for launch?) are all things that can be done to lighten the load and increase your confidence that youβre doing the right thing given what you have
When time is scarce on a software project, visibility and knowledge of your products value is key from a quality perspective.
So many teams put testers in the spotlight to solve this, but itβs so much more effective to broaden your methods and involve everyone in the process.
Today was one of those days where I was all over the place, but I think bar some test planning for specific activities, we're now mostly at a point of execution and buffing up our frameworks for go-lives in Feb. Looks....okay right now.
Just need to find space to relax now π«
Tired boi today, but still played golf
Score for kinda hard golf on 6th January 2026
Kinda hard golf for 6th Jan 2026!
Think this is the first time in a while that Iβve had adrenaline fueled exhaustion. Iβm surprised I was able to get anything done today honestly!
Well, leak from the kitchen sink means half our downstairs has flooded. Carpet all torn up and now blowing air on the concrete hoping it dries quickly.
A solid start to 2026 π₯²
A kinda hard golf score for the 5th January 2026
I like playing silly golf games - 5th Jan 2026
8 hours later, Iβve managed to drag a solid wood bookshelf halfway across England.
Some crazy golf was involved.
A hash brown bowl, with salsa and sour cream on top
[I ate] Hash brown bowl with bacon, mozzarella, sour cream, salsa and spring onions.
Malted vanilla milkshake on the side was very nice too ππ»
Last day off before I head back to work for whatβs going to be a rather βfunβ month with multiple product launches. Roll sleeves up time etc
The collections page on PokΓ©mon tcg pocket, with completed recent expansions
