Excellent. Thank you.
Excellent. Thank you.
...it's just the grinding, unrelenting stupidity of the details of this administration that get to you.
Medical insurance execs in the US = soulless, money grubbing ghouls
Yep. A political maneuver.
EXCLUSIVE: @standupforscience.bsky.social sent an investigator to Guinea-Bissau and shared their unpublished findings with members of Congress. I obtained a copy of that report, which details how deeply the researchers are enmeshed - and what that means for US:

Great reporting by @melodyschreiber.com. Everything feels like a test case with this administration. So concerning.
Still beautiful
"When companies generate profit margins far exceeding those of most other industries, it inevitably raises questions about whether the system is serving patientsβor maximizing shareholder returns.
That tension is becoming harder to ignore."

Please, please, please let this happen!
Or stumble back into bed
Thank you!
My daughter when she was little, "Mom, don't kill the spider in the corner of my bathroom. I like talking to him."
I'm all for relocating the critters, too, with exceptions for when they get up in my business.
Could you step through why you think this is faked? I'm genuinely curious because I feel certain I'm going to hear others talking about this in the wild. What are the red flags?
Good work! They can thank vaccines that they didn't need to know until very recently.
if Iran were to bomb a children's school located on an American military base something tells me Fox News wouldn't be discussing it like "well of course this is a tragedy but nevertheless military bases are lawful wartime targets so you can see how this happened"
Roy Clark is solid.
A black and white photo of snowy mountains with sagebrush flats in the foreground.
Spent some time with a sassy nonagenarian today. The view on the drive to her house was not bad. Too early for those sagebrush flats to be snow free, though!

Hope that guy found a mask in the pharmacy section, and kudos to him for at least trying.
Thought about not wearing my mask into the grocery store (immune compromised), but did anyway because it just doesn't bother me. A guy came up to me within minutes asking where I got my mask. "Online." Him, "Dang. I don't know if I'm infectious or not." π« ππ I hear you loud and clear, universe. π·
Grammar and autocorrect. Hopefully you know what I mean.
The real reason - sometimes it's too hard to turn off the existential dread du jour.
I don't think I can honestly blame my horrible night of sleep last night on spring forward, but I am anyway. π΄
It's easy to laugh and condemn these parents, but we ALL pay the price for the mis and disinformation they've taken for. Better than blaming, let's educate! Fight misinformation with sound information. Hard in areas where the misinfo is entrenched, but we can't give up.
Because of my daughter's developmental disabilities, I've come into contact with lots of parents of children with developmental disabilities. It's *astonishing* how many of them are searching for any answer as to why their kids are the way they are and latching on to "vaccines" because it's easy.
Pfizer threatened to hold Rx drugs hostage from France. Don't let pharma pit the U.S. vs. the world.
Americans pay too much for drugs. But that is not Europe's fault, or responsibility. It is PHARMAS! Pharma can afford to sell its meds to Americans for less, without harming others & innovation.
We need all of the loving, accepting Christianity we can get to counter the other kind. Also, love "help folks in the way they have asked to be helped."
Remember when The Onion seemed absurd? π«
"Time has been kinder to Egglestonβs ability to see beauty in the ugly, tacky or mundane β to wage βwar with the obviousβ, as he has put it."
This quote from the article beautifully encapsulates what I've always felt about Eggleston's photography.
Book cover for The Iron Garden Sutra by AD Sui. A yellow cover with a stylized spaceship within two concentric circles with planet-like circles and another stylized spaceship with a skull and red vines at the edge of the circles.
15 - The Iron Garden Sutra by A.D. Sui. A philosophical science fiction horror novel? I loved so much about this book. Loved the exploration of grief, death, life and what constitutes being alive, and religion amidst a very atmospheric locked door thriller. πππͺ
