Fantastic movie. The dancing with headphones in forest scene had me cracking. Need to rewatch this too. Somehow, "Tusk" feels like the odd, even more bizarre brother of this one now that I think of it (have to rewatch that one too)

Same here with 7 for me. I think 7 is one of the most brilliant horror games ever made. Not even sure if it fits into the series as a whole :P It kind of feels like standing as its own thing for me. The RE like aspects it has feel a bit "slapped on" to me.

I think YT is pretty much embedded in society. If those sectors depend on openai, it's just wrong, and a very recent development. Nothing is carved in stone. The defeatist mindset they bet on. Once openai went down, certain people will choose the next one to depend on, claiming it is "inevitable".
I imagine e.g. YT would be in trouble if all their users would stop using it for just one day. We are still affected by them because rarely we act united, which is what they bet on. There is a german saying I like: "Imagine it is war and no one goes"

The power is always in the consumer hands. We always vote with our wallets, our attention/time/usage spent on platforms, and the narrative/attitudes we show to support. Their power is built on it. It is not everywhere, only if we let it.
