Snow ducks!

I would say we got like about 5ish inches of snow so I’m still happy! Yay!!

Which will be more devastating like public infrastructure wise too so only negatives BOOOOO 🍅🍅 (but I WILL be staying with my people so getting stranded at home with them…silver linings)

I absolutely did not get my hopes up when the forecast said we might get two feet of snow and thus am not affected by the increasing likelihood that it’ll be more ice than anything *sniff*

“We meet up once a year, and rarely talk in between because life gets busy” just doesn’t quite describe the experience and how meaningful every con is. I went into the con exhausted and travel weary, but I’m glad I got to socialize with the folks I did get to see.

Yet again at work, telling people I had a nice mini vacation with old friends, casual and flippant like I wasn’t just in a liminal space of love and community, like I won’t take at least a week to adjust to real life, like I won’t be dreaming about it every night for at least a month afterwards
