Is there a correct way to disclose your disability in academic job search? I took a break because I was mega sick & now I can’t even get responses to my field inquiries let alone job hunting. It hurts.
I’m in a venting mood. I wish I could pick *one* struggle instead of what I have now, which is all. All of them.

Bebeh has been picking on her skin a lot lately and a couple of (self inflicted) wounds won’t heal. I got her a onesie to keep her from picking the scabs. She looks too cute but of course she hates it.

I have the worst kind of insomnia lately. The kind in which I can’t sleep because my brain won’t shut up ideas about work, research, projects etc. But since I don’t sleep properly, I am a useless zombie during daytime. Even sleeping aids don’t work, nothing works. 🧟♂️

So I have an appointment with an immunologist regarding my mess of a health issues. I’m debating if I make a list of symptoms or a ppt with audiovisual content. @savannahg.bsky.social suggested using my fave emoji (💩) as bullet points which is so tempting but also terrifying.
