I'm hoping that next year I'll be able to do the training at a studio here in SE Michigan, so I'm just writing new stuff until I know how to make it sound great. YouTube videos are useless because they start them with "If you don't know how to record vocals properly, you should quit now."

Thanks. Put a lot into it, still trying to figure out how to record vocals where they sound good. Instruments I can do, vocals I cannot. I think that's where a lot of the issues stem from the past few days. Feeling like I'll never get it right, so it's pressed into my brain.

So I've only ever played Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, and 5. But those were years ago when they first came out. I played the GameCube remake (the reason I got a GC), but that's it. I now have all of them (1-4 being the remakes), minus 9, and I feel like I should go back through them.

Home recording studio. Purple walls with black acoustic panels, guitars, and records on them. An electronic drum kit and a desk, along with a purple, black, and gray square rug.

Home recording studio seem from another angle. Pretty much same as the other picture, but with an effects pedal shelf and an outboard gear rack, along with a bass amp.

Studio is really coming together. Just a few things left to do, but they can wait for now.
